Suggesting title change of Padmavati to Padmavat

It's a new day which means there's more news about Sanjay Leela Bhansali's magnum opus 'Padmavati'. After months of controversy, it finally looks like something good will be happening for the film. The prospects of the release of the controversial film brightened significantly with the censor board and the filmmakers arriving at an agreement to change the title to 'Padmavat', carry two disclaimers and modify a song sequence featuring the Mewat queen. The Central Board of Film Certification has offered a U/A certification after it viewed the film on Thursday evening and suggested five modifications and not a couple of dozen cuts as speculated.

Movie Rajinikanth's ‘2.0’ gets a release date

Talking about the film, The Tamil superstar told his fans that '2.0' is a one of a kind movie, content-wise its fresh and unique. He went on to say that the movie will be remembered like how 'Chandralekha' is talked about even today. He also said that the film's release got postponed because of CG work as well as the re-recording of AR Rahman's score.

Women wanting to go for Haj without Mehram to be exempt from lottery

The Centre has for the first time decided to allow women pilgrims over the age of 45 to undertake the pilgrimage in groups of at least four sans 'Mehram', a decision hailed by the minister as "historic".

The term Mehram refers to a male, a woman cannot marry in her life (i.e. father, brother or son etc). Till now, women pilgrims would be required to be accompanied by their husbands or 'Mehrams' during the annual pilgrimage.
