Panur Blast Case - 3 More People Were Arrested


Three more suspects have been arrested in connection with the Pannoor bombing in Kannur. Sajilesh and Jijosh, both from Kathirur, were arrested, as was Babu, a Vadakara resident. Sajilesh is accused of murdering RSS leader Kathirur Manoj. The ammunition was seized from Vadakara Madapalli during the police inquiry into where the ammunition for the bomb was procured.

Babu, a Vadakara native, was detained after transporting ammo from Vadakara to Panur to manufacture a bomb. By questioning him, the police apprehended two additional persons. Madapally yielded three kg of ammo. The police and bomb squad continue to search the Kannur and Kozhikode districts' borders.

A bomb went off during construction in Panur, killing one person. Later, authorities conducted a search of the area, discovering other steel explosives.
